Focus Scripture:"Take us the foxes,the LITTLE foxes that spoil the
vines:for our vines have tender grapes."(Songs of Songs 2:15). I'd
love to call these little sins SEEMINGLY SMALL SINS(SSS)-seeming
because we're the ones who termed & categorized them so God does not
recognize any sin as small/little.Hence,the need to take a look at
what these sins are.But before we go on,i'd say that we read on
prayerfully and infact can print or save this pages for future
references.Grasp the word,study and meditate on it for maximum
benefits.I pray that God bless and breathe on us all as we read on!
I am compelled to tell the TRUTH;The
Total,
Revealed &
Undiluted
Teaching from
Heaven.I would as much as possible leave no stone unturned as we dig
Heaven's treasures.
DESCRIPTION & DIVERSITIES OF SEEMINGLY SMALL SINS.
These sins are just and harmless in the eyes of man but CONDEMNABLE
and CAPABLE of eternal punishment before God.Some of them are:
1. LITTLE LIES-(phone lies,white lies,joke lies etc). God does not
perceive a lie to be a joke or white lie.Some find it so easy to lie
over the phone because the other party can't see them;forgetting that
The Omnipresent is watching.So,no matter what you call your lie,
there's punishment for it-Rev 21:8. Pls i beg you in God's name,if
this has anything to do with you;Pls REPENT of it TODAY!
2. LITTLE DISOBIDIENCE-.Col 3:6, 1Sam 15:1-end
It has become common practice for youths of these days to constantly
rebuff and ignore instructions from parents,elders and even GOD!I put
it that a whole lot of us have over-bloated our egos and
personalities;we think we're bigger than the instructions,parents and
elders give to us,we're old enough to know what's best for us ignoring
the fact we're still gonna have issues of our own.Disobedience cost
the Israelites their early arrival to the promised land and till
tomorrow,still very capable of robbing you your greatness amidst a
whole lot of things.
3. LITTLE LUST-{of the flesh and eyes}.1Cor 16:18, 2Tim 2:22.
The Bible warns us to FLEE!from every APPEARANCE of evil; The Bible
mentions appearance of evil and not evil itself.So many of us fit into
the exact description of the young man in Prov.7:6-23. We must flee(a
better qualification for run) lusts and worldly desires for the sake
of our own lives.
4. LITTLE FRAUDULENCE- 1Thess 4:6.
Christian brothers and sisters have now formed the habit of inflating
prices of items for their own gain.A lot even defraud the people they
call brethren.You know,i once was told that the best people to
defraud were pastors and christians because they wouldn't curse you(in
a bid not to sin against their God).Funny, isn't it? Yet we have a lot
of fellow believers in the practice. Some of us run errands and
deliberately keep the change without been asked to;some even ask the
sales man/woman to write a particular inflated price on the receipt so
we'll share the loot with them. God is against every practice as such.
DESIST!
5. LITTLE SHOW OF PRIDE- Prov 8:13; 11:2; 16:18.
Pride, The Bible says,goes before a fall. And that implicates that
anyone who's proud and haughty is about to be brought low,lower than
ever imagined. Pride is a character God greatly abhors.1 Pet 5:5, Lev
26:19. A proud man can be likened to a dog that decides to rebel
against its owner and then is in the next minute lying in the owner's
pot. Like Wale Adenuga will always say-we're nothing but pencils in
the Hand of The Creator. Do not esteem yourself more than
necessary/normal. If you desire to be found at the top, you need not
to be proud cos it'll make you FALL into your own DESTRUCTION! Before
honour comes humility, Prov 18:12. Deal with pride today,
And tomorrow,you'll soar really high.
